Hello, summer! I hope everyone is taking some time this season to enjoy family, friends, BBQs, brews and the (extremely hot) Florida sunshine. While there’s so much to love about summer, it’s also a time for planning and preparation for FPRA Orlando’s incoming board of directors. Led by Jose Luis Dieppa, the 2022-2023 board has some incredible plans in store for the new chapter year (beginning in September) — from monthly programs to member-only events to special membership perks, you won’t want to miss it!

FPRA’s Annual Conference is so close — don’t forget to register! I can’t wait to welcome our PR friends from around the state to the City Beautiful alongside all of you. As an annual chapter tradition, we invite our members to gather for dinner on the first night of Annual Conference. Regardless of your plans to attend the conference, all chapter members are invited! Make sure to RSVP here by August 1 to join our reservation.

Finally, I’m excited to share this year’s chapter annual report — detailing our outgoing board of directors’ activities, key learnings and accomplishments from this past year. We’ve achieved so much together under ever-changing circumstances, and I’m extremely grateful for their dedication, creativity and positive attitudes all year long. It really made this year #FPRAGreaterThan ever and, as members, we hope you explore the annual report and help us continue our mission of building Central Florida’s PR community in the new chapter year. We plan to formally celebrate these triumphs and the amazing year to come at our annual end-of-year celebration and board installation next month — mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 23.
