Joe Curley Rising Leader Program
LeadershipFPRA provides our members with the tools they need to become stronger leaders in their organizations, their communities and FPRA. The program is formal, consisting of an orientation and five full-day sessions. Regardless of how new you are to the business or how long you may have practiced, this program will help you hone leadership skills good for a lifetime. Click here to learn more.
LeadershipFPRA is a year-long leadership development experience exclusive to FPRA that offers participants the tools they need to become stronger leaders in their organizations, their communities and FPRA. Click here for more information.
Each year, FPRA Orlando offers scholarships for selected members who are accepted into the program. As a recipient of this scholarship, members will be required to contribute to FPRA Orlando’s blog and social media pages by recapping each session.
There are several opportunities for members of every level to hone their skills. Members who serve on FPRA’s board and committees will have the opportunity to give back to their community while having a leadership role.
The Joe Curley Rising Leader Award is intended to identify and honor up-and-coming individual FPRA members that demonstrate emerging leadership traits along with dedicated active involvement in FPRA Chapter activities, programs, functions and events.
The goal of the award is to help recognize personal dedication and engagement of members with two to five years of membership, and to help build a healthy leadership stream at the local chapter level.
The chosen honoree for the Joe Curley Rising Leader Award is selected from the Rising Leader Class of that year. Membership into the Rising Leader Class is determined by chapter nomination, one candidate per chapter. The recipient of the Joe Curley Rising Leader Award is given a $500 cash award and $500 in FPRA credit to be utilized for any professional development offerings at the state level. Moreover, each finalist, or class member, is honored with a $150 FPRA credit that can be redeemed for professional development purposes (membership not included), at state level only.
Nominations are accepted annually in March with recognition taking place during the FPRA Annual Conference each August.
