Proposal Guidelines
We welcome proposals from seasoned public relations practitioners and experts in their respective fields or subject-matter areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, management/leadership, marketing, social media, media relations, internal communications, crisis communications and advertising.
Successful speakers will have demonstrated expertise, provide actionable takeaways and engage the audience with dynamic and interactive discussion. Speakers are not permitted to pitch the sale of their products or services.
Presentations should demonstrate:
Innovative strategies with measurable results
Proven solutions for overcoming organizational challenges, such as protecting reputation, leveraging new technologies, engaging stakeholders and ethical decision making
Impact of industry trends, such as changing demographics and modern technology
Planning and management techniques for successful communications programs
Proposal Evaluation
Proposals will be reviewed by the FPRA Orlando Area Chapter programming team, who will evaluate presentations based on relevance, audience appeal, practical value and speaker qualifications. We will notify you about the status of your proposal within one month of submission.

Speaking to the FPRA Orlando Area Chapter offers many benefits, including:

All speakers will receive a complimentary registration, including any associated meals, to the event in which they are participating. Speaker fees and travel expenses will only be approved under special circumstances and must be pre-approved at time of booking.
About the FPRA Orlando Area Chapter
FPRA is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida. It is the oldest public relations organization in the United States. Members represent a variety of different organizations including private and public corporations, government entities, not-for-profits, counseling firms and independent practitioners. As a statewide Association, FPRA boasts nearly 1,500 professional and student members.
The FPRA Orlando Area Chapter is home to more than 100 members.
