Happy Friday!
Over the past year, one of the most rewarding aspects of my role as Chapter President has been celebrating our membership – and there has never been a shortage of reasons to celebrate! Recently, I had the opportunity to surprise three of our exceptional members with exciting news: they will each be recognized with prestigious awards from our chapter this month! All three of these individuals are truly inspiring PR practitioners, and I can’t wait to formally recognize them at next week’s End of Year Celebration and Board Installation.

Tickets are still available to join us on July 31 at the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom. This breakfast will also recognize two additional chapter award recipients, our Member of the Year and our Bob Davis Unsung Hero, who will be announced that morning. We’ll celebrate an incredible 2023-2024 board year, and ring in the 2024-2025 year with the installation of next year’s Board of Directors. We’ll also hear from incoming state president, Julie Frey, APR, CPRC, about her vision for the year ahead.
It has been a remarkable year, and I am truly honored to have served our chapter. Can’t wait to celebrate you all soon!
