Brief Explanation of Your Job: I drive the external communications strategy for Optum Insight, the division of Optum focused on health care technology. My role involves shaping and sharing the stories that highlight how our innovations are transforming the health system.

How Long Have You Been a Member of FPRA and Why Did You Join? I’ve been a proud member of FPRA since 2018. I joined to connect with fellow communicators across Florida and quickly discovered the incredible value of this community. FPRA has supported my growth through professional development, leadership opportunities, and meaningful relationships that continue to inspire me.

What Has Been Your Favorite FPRA Event or Experience So Far? Serving as the Accreditation Chair for the FPRA Orlando Area Chapter has been one of my most rewarding experiences. Supporting others on their APR journey and helping elevate the profession has reinforced my belief in the importance of accreditation in elevating the standards and credibility of our field.

Tell Us About an Exciting Achievement (Personal or Professional): My proudest achievement is being a mom to two incredible daughters. They inspire me every day to lead with purpose, stay curious, and bring heart to everything I do.

What Was Your First Job? I was a cake artist at a bakery! It taught me creativity and patience, skills I still use today in communications.

What’s on fun fact about you? I spent most of my life in Istanbul, Turkey, a city rich in history and culture. That cultural richness continues to influence how I think, communicate, and connect with others.
