Member PRofile: Ryan Greene
Title and company: Public Relations Specialist, Curley & Pynn
Give a brief explanation of your job: I assist in the day-to-day communication needs of a variety of clients. From social media to media relations, I help facilitate any PR need they may have.
How long have you been a member of FPRA and why did you join? I joined FPRA as soon as I joined the Curley & Pynn team back in September, excited to make connections and learn from a variety of perspectives and industries.
What has been your favorite FPRA event or experience so far? This March, I attended a program led by the Orlando Pride, where they discussed how their success on the field coincided with their success off the field. As someone with a lifelong passion for sports, it was truly inspiring to hear the impact sports can have on a community through successful public relations, right here in my city.
Tell us about an exciting achievement (personal or professional): Despite having never played competitive bowling in my life, I started and captained my high school's inaugural bowling team. Last I heard, I still hold the school record with a 201!
What was your first job? My first real job was a movie theater attendant. I loved it!
What's one fun fact about you? I played competitive baseball for 12 years and led my district in ERA as a pitcher in my senior year of high school. I'm a diehard Red Sox fan and coach youth baseball to this day!
