Member PRofile: Sabrina Robinson
Title and company: Public Communications Coordinator, Seminole County Government
Give a brief explanation of your job: My day-to-day involves writing for social media, creating collateral for various County Divisions, web content writing and editing, and working with the Seminole County Government Television (SGTV) videography team to create videos that highlight different County programs and projects.
How long have you been a member of FPRA and why did you join? I joined FPRA in spring 2024 when I started at Seminole County because of the educational workshops and presentations that our office could benefit from.
What has been your favorite FPRA event or experience so far? I really enjoyed the FPRA Spring Social held in March 2025— it was the event where I truly felt like I came out of my shell. I had the chance to meet and connect with so many wonderful new people!
Tell us about an exciting achievement (personal or professional): A cool professional achievement I’m proud of is completing the FEMA Public Information Basics Course last spring. I enjoyed the course and learning all the essentials tools needed in a PR professional’s toolkit. It included real-life crisis exercises, media training, and featured guest speakers who offered brilliant insight. I’m looking forward to completing the Advanced Public Information Office course next!
What was your first job? Public Information and Community Outreach Specialist, Global-5
What's one fun fact about you? I’m a big sports fan! I mainly follow football, basketball, and hockey. I’m from South Florida, so I love all my hometown teams—the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Heat, and the Florida Panthers—plus UCF football. ❤
