FPRA x Quotes Professional Clothing Drive

As students prepare to take the next step in their professional journeys, access to the right resources can make all the difference. This spring, the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Orlando Area chapter is proud to partner with Quotes for a new initiative designed to support students during Intern Pursuit: the FPRA Orlando x Quotes Professional Clothing Drive.
The goal of the drive is simple but impactful: to collect professional and business-casual clothing that Quotes members can wear as they prepare for interviews, networking opportunities, and career-building experiences. FPRA will lead the campaign by mobilizing its member network, with Quotes as the primary beneficiary. Any remaining clothing will be distributed through Market Day or donated to the Knights Helping Knights Pantry, extending the drive’s impact beyond Intern Pursuit.
This initiative supports two key audiences: Quotes members in need of professional attire and local professionals looking to give back to the next generation. This initiative lets FPRA support emerging professionals in a tangible way while deepening its connection to the UCF community.
Starting Wednesday, February 18 through March 11, donors are encouraged to drop off gently used or new professional and business-casual clothing at the following locations or events:
Curly & Pynn (1516 Hillcrest St., Suite 210, Orlando, FL 32803, Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 11 at the Women’s History & Cultural Center from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. during our FPRA event.
The drive will also be integrated into the Quotes’ Resume Roundtable event on March 13 from noon to 2 p.m., where professional attire will be available for Quotes members as they wait for resume reviews. A nearby room will be reserved to allow attendees to browse available items, ensuring they leave feeling confident and prepared.
Through collaboration, generosity and shared purpose, the FPRA x Quotes Professional Clothing Drive reflects FPRA’s commitment to service, mentorship and community impact. FPRA members are invited to participate, donate, and help empower future communications professionals, one outfit at a time.
