June President’s PRoclaimer Message

June is one of my favorite months on the FPRA Orlando calendar because it brings together two things that make our profession stronger: learning from one another and celebrating excellence.

I hope you'll join us on June 26 for our annual Media Mashup, an event created in partnership with PRSA Orlando, where communications professionals and journalists will come together for a day of insights, candid conversations and valuable networking opportunities. This signature event continues to be one of the best ways to stay ahead of industry trends while building meaningful connections.

As we look ahead to our annual board installation in August (I can't believe that is around the corner!), we're also preparing to recognize outstanding professionals through our chapter awards program. From the Roger Pynn Award for Career Excellence to the ImPRess Award and other chapter honors, these awards celebrate the individuals who elevate our profession and make a lasting impact on our community. Think about a colleague who has made an impact, or maybe even yourself, and send in your nomination!
