Title and company: Communications Specialist at AtkinsRéalis

Give a brief explanation of your job: I am a communications consultant who assists clients with written materials, creative content, and event planning!

How long have you been a member of FPRA, and why did you join? I’ve been an FPRA member since last August. Some of my team members are fellow FPRA members and introduced it to me. When I saw the community and learning opportunities offered to members, joining was the easiest choice I’ve made in my career!

What has been your favorite FPRA event or experience so far? My favorite was probably the Christmas party because it was so exciting to recap everything FPRA has done in the year!

Tell us about an exciting achievement (personal or professional): I love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit ten countries. Learning about different cultures has fostered significant appreciation and personal growth that I carry both personally and professionally.

What was your first job? My first job ever was on my Disney College Program, where I worked at the Twilight Zone’s Tower of Terror. It taught me how to work under pressure, interact with all kinds of personalities, and, most importantly, the power of immersive storytelling.

What's one fun fact about you? A fun fact about me is that my sister and I were scouted for Season 37 of The Amazing Race and made it super far in the casting process! Although we didn’t make the final cut, the experience was one of the most unexpected opportunities and pushed me outside of my comfort zone in the best way possible.
